Since Y is categorical it has two classes, i.e., C and F referred to Completed and Failed projects respectively. The independent variable is Experience and lies on X-axis. Y has predicted probabilities between 0 and 1 as shown in Figure 1. The relationship between the Task Success and Experience is described by a curve. The curve line continues to rise with the increase in Experience. A lower Experience value has less probability for Task Success or vice versa. This could also mean that predictor variable (Experience) is directly proportional to Outcome or response variable (Task Success). The probability for Task Success increases with the increase in Experience. The upper left dots mostly represent the Failed Projects while the lower right visualizes the Completed Projects as shown by the Logistic Curve.

Slope Estimate

Figure 2 shows the parameter or slope estimate for the independent variable Experience. The ‘Estimate’ represents the value for logistic regression equation to predict dependent variable from independent variable. The coefficient or parameter estimate for the Experience is 0.1470, which is positive. It means for a half unit change in the Experience, expect a 0.1470 increase in the log-odds of Task Success (Dependent variable).

Range Odds Ratios

Range odds radios refers to the entire range of independent variable(Experience), i.e., 35. The range odds ratio for Experience is 61.338, which is also a positive value. It means that over the Entire range of Experience the odds of completed Projects increase by 61%
